Working both individually on essays and in diverse groups to contribute to projects will allow you to take on many scenarios in working life and prepare you for your future career.

The University of Leeds’s Careers Service offers a wide range of services, including one-to-one career guidance, CV and cover letter writing workshops, interview skills workshops, and access to exclusive job opportunities. Once you successfully progress to the University of Leeds you will be able to access MyCareer which is the university’s dedicated careers platform where you can find job vacancies, book appointments with careers advisors, and sign up for careers events.
Degrees at the University of Leeds are flexible to suit your interests and ambition. Most undergraduate degrees will consist of compulsory, optional and discovery modules. Discovery modules give you the opportunity to broaden your academic experience and enhance your employability by studying a subject outside of the area of your chosen undergraduate degree.
You may also get the opportunity to take a placement year as part of your degree that will allow you to gain skills and crucial work experience to help guide your career journey.
